How it works
Sense. Understand. Go.
Three stages turn the planet's travel chatter into journeys you can trust. Here is what happens at each stage, and where the machine stops and the human starts.
1. Sense
We listen to the planet stirring. The PULSE network reads free, public signals: social conversation velocity, travel content, hashtag and creator activity, with learned filtering that keeps spam and noise out. The MX expansion engine blends this with our own page-view telemetry and Wikipedia destination pageviews into daily demand scores.
2. Understand
Signals become intelligence. An agentic keeper runs daily research sweeps against our Intelligence base, moving destinations from watching to observed to active to priority as the evidence builds. The weekly briefing turns that machinery into an executive read: what moved, what event is driving it, and the one move to make.
3. Go
Intelligence becomes journeys. Guides carry dated costs, exact spots, timing, and backups, and nothing is published until its claims are verified. In New Orleans, the founder walks the streets: the guide says it because someone checked it in person.
What is automated, what is human
| Task | Who does it |
|---|---|
| Reading public demand signals | Machine: PULSE plus the MX engine |
| Daily research sweeps and scoring | Machine: the keeper, fail-closed |
| Deciding what gets published | Human: verified before publishing |
| New Orleans ground truth | Human: the founder, on foot |
| The weekly briefing curation | Human: the curated weekly read |
The honest line: signals are machine-read, claims are verified before publishing. Raw scores, deltas, and benchmarks stay behind the paid surface; the public destination index shows qualitative signals only.
