Make This Trip Real
Peru guides, in the works.
Honest status: no paid Peru guides exist yet. The Peru editions are in production, and they go live only when they clear the same verification the New Orleans guides cleared. Anything below that line is not a guide we would charge for.
The New Orleans guides are the proof of what a Peru guide will look like: two-page PDFs with exact spots, dated prices, timing rules, tourist traps named with better alternatives, and booking links. Nothing vague, nothing padded.
Research phase
What is being researched
- Machu Picchu: the three circuits and ten routes, the daily caps, Tu Boleto timing, and the train chain that has to fit the ticket.
- Cusco and the Sacred Valley: altitude sequencing that sleeps you low first, and the order of towns, terraces, and citadel days.
- Lima: the food capital — tasting menus, cevicherías, markets, and the malecón days between them.
- Arequipa and Colca: the White City done slowly, and the canyon as a two-day trip with the condor morning protected.
- The Amazon: Tambopata, Iquitos, and Manu compared honestly — which gateway, which lodge style, which season.
- Lake Titicaca: Uros, Taquile, and Amantaní at the right depth, sequenced at the end of the altitude ladder where it belongs.
