Cookie Policy

XSCOPE Travel uses as few cookies as possible. This page lists every cookie our site sets, why it exists, and how long it lasts.
What we do not do
No advertising cookies. No cross-site tracking. No fingerprinting. No third-party analytics. We do not sell, rent, or share cookie data with data brokers or advertisers.
Cookies we set
Cloudflare security cookies
Our site runs behind Cloudflare, which sets short-lived cookies to distinguish real visitors from bots and attacks. These are strictly necessary for the site to function securely.
- __cf_bm — bot protection. Expires after 30 minutes.
- cf_clearance — remembers that you passed a security check, so you are not challenged repeatedly. Expires after 30 minutes to 1 year depending on the check.
Stripe checkout cookies
When you buy a guide, Stripe (our payment processor) sets cookies to keep your checkout session secure and working. These only appear if you start a purchase.
- __stripe_mid, __stripe_sid — fraud prevention and session continuity during checkout. Expire after 30 minutes to 1 year.
Stripe has its own privacy policy covering what it collects during payment.
Preferences
We do not currently set preference or remember-me cookies. If that changes, this page will be updated.
Do we need your consent?
The cookies above are strictly necessary: without them, the site cannot protect itself from attacks or process payments. Under EU and UK rules, strictly necessary cookies do not require a consent banner. That is why you do not see one.
If we ever add analytics, advertising, or optional cookies, we will add a consent banner and update this page first.
Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. Blocking the Cloudflare security cookies may cause the site to challenge you as a potential bot. Blocking Stripe cookies will prevent checkout from working.
